In seek of a perfect wallet

I know I haven't posted anything lately. I was sooo busy the past few weeks with exams, study and projects to hand in that I hardly had time for myself. During the first week of the Holidays I did the opposite by knitting (I improved my skills since the last time I mentioned it), sewing and watching movies all the time.

I've also been seeking the PERFECT wallet for already a while. Unfortunately the ones that I found were a little bit expensive (there are pictures of the ones I like bellow) and I would never buy a fake-leather or plastic one.

Inspired by these wallets and some other accessories, I decided TO MAKE ONE!
This way, I will keep the money I would have spend on a wallet for another purchase - hopefully for a gorgeous pair of shoes or a to die-for (Alexander Wang?) bag.

Here are a few sketches of my future wallet:

PS. I hope it will look nice!

Time to knit

Today, I've decided that it's time to learn how to knit!
There is a trend that's been going on for a while: Infinity scarves. There are many models from which you can chose in the length, material and color you want. Plus, they not only look good, they even feel good as well as keep you warm! :)
It is definitely one of this season's must-have!

Love the outfit

Nice color

PS. My goal is to make one of these myself and I guess I'm on the right track...

Hum...  a little bit of practice wouldn't do any harm

Marni for H&M

Is there a girl on this planet who isn't excited when she learns she will be able to buy some cheep  designer creation? I suppose not.
After collaborations with Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Madonna, Roberto Cavalli, Kylie Minogue, Comme de Garçons, Matthew Williamson, Jimmy Choo, Sonia Rykiel, Lanvin and Versace, H&M is adding Marni to the list.

The collection will be available on March 12, 2012 in 260 H&M stores worldwide a well as online!
You better appreciate tribal prints mixed with colorful Bauhaus graphics because that's what you'll see Consuelo Castglioni, founder of Marni, said:"As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colors, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic adding sporty utilitarian elements." :)
This incredible woman wants to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints! Fantastic, right?
With vivid colors and bold prints, creations will either be the result of African inspiration or simpler color blocks. You'll be able to recognize Marni's dresses, full pleated skirts, cropped trousers and jacquard knit. The fabrics used will go from crisp cotton poplin to silk.
If you were dreaming of remaking your man's wardrobe, your prayer has been answered by the gods: Marni is also designing a line for men!

I hope these few months pass by fast!
